Isabelle Courtney (BA. MSc.) is a Librarian/Information professional, lecturer, and freelance journalist with a strong background in research and commercial development. She is a lecturer in Records Management and Information Law on the Library and Information Management MSc programme at Dublin Business School. In her previous role as the academic director to the Institute of International Retail, she project-managed the development of their e-learning courses, LMS platform and CPD framework for the Duty-Free & Travel Retail industry.
About me:
I hold a Master of Science Degree in Information and Library Management and have a particular interest in Information and media literacy, knowledge and records management. I am passionate about libraries and have a love of the concept of lifelong learning and self-development. I am a member of the Library Association of Ireland (LAI) and Media Literacy Ireland (MLI). I am on the committee of the LAI Career Development Group (LAI CDG) and the Literacies committee.
